Leitzinger House
Client: Leitzinger Family
Scope: Renovation & Addition
Size: 5,000 SF
Completion: 1996
Project Manager: Richard Berliner, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, ALEP
This 1920’s house designed by Roland Coate was completely renovated, along with the replacement of a later addition with a new wing that contains a kitchen, family room, maid’s room and outdoor fireplace.
All systems in the house were replaced including electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning.
The new addition seamlessly integrates with the existing house, replicating much of the original detailing in hardware, decorative tiles, light fixtures and interior plaster finishes. The new kitchen integrates modern appliances with traditional cabinetry and decorative finishes.
