Berliner Architects is currently overseeing construction of a new elementary school for KIPP SoCal. The new construction two-story elementary school will be completed for the 2024 school year.

Berliner studied the neighborhoods and schools around the site to inform the design. the school is situated adjacent to residential and commercial areas. Berliner was sensitive to sight lines and visibility when designing the school, making sure that the street facing facades incorporated different materials, colors, and massing to give relief to the facades.

The school was designed at a smaller scale to be comfortable for the elementary school students and incorporate warm, inviting color palettes.
