Size: Campus wide
Completion: In Progress

We have been working with the Idyllwild Arts Foundation on their Capital Improvements Plan. Improvements to the campus include upgrading campus housing and increasing safety and sustainability on the rural, mountain campus. Additionally, we will be working closely with Idyllwild and Cahuilla Nation stakeholders to develop the Native American Arts Center, create a historical signage plan, and restore "The Meadows," which is a culturally and historically significant site for the native people of the area.
Berliner Architects recently completed the Walking Campus Analysis for Idyllwild Arts Foundation, which is Phase 1 of the Campus Facilities Master Plan. We began the process with interviews with students and staff, visits to the sites, and an analysis of campus needs. From our findings, we developed a system of Primary and Secondary Paths, Trails, and vehicular roads. The Walking Campus was designed to be safe and comfortable for Idyllwild, Providing Landscaping, Lighting, and resting places throughout the campus.
