Berliner Architects has been working with an entertainment company to create a space that has LED screens covering every surface to create a fully immersive studio. Originally planned as a motion capture studio, Berliner had to design the space to be able to accommodate a large HVAC unit that will be needed to cool the LED screens. After considering different options, Berliner created an enlarged attic space for the large HVAC unit. Berliner’s renovation will also create two or three workstations in the studio and include acoustic separation throughout the whole studio.
