The new Mercaz Classroom Building will provide Pressman Academy Middle School with 8 additional classrooms, 4 offices, and multiple additional restrooms. The teachers. students, and staff discussed their style of project-based learning and this was incorporated into the design.

The building encourages outdoor learning with a central courtyard space and exterior circulation between classrooms, which is covered by a large timber trellis to protect from the elements. The project also included the installation of the temporary classrooms while the building is being constructed.
